our District Circle of Support: faculty & staff from all buildings standing in a circle in css gym

While our students were probably still nestled all snug in their beds today, District Faculty & Staff gathered at Charles Street School to open their day of Professional Development with interim Superintendent, Mr. Mark Pease.  Mr. Pease brought everyone into a circle to remind us that we are all here for one reason: our students. We should lean on each other across grades and buildings &

push to be great for our students every day!

Our Keynote speaker today was Mr. George Scott, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist known throughout New Jersey as an energetic and engaging speaker. As his website shares, “His expertise helps bring professional staff (and parents) to a greater understanding of their role in raising healthy children.”George believes, “All adults have the power within them to improve the lives of children.”

His words were meaningful to many in attendance with gratitude to Dr. Norton for bringing him to our campus! He further emphasized Mr. Pease’s circle by sharing how penguins create a circle of protection -a buffer- around the chicks in times of danger. It reminds us that ALL OF US are responsible for ALL of the kids in our district!

We are #PalmyraProud of our district family and all that they shared today in their workshops!

See you all at school tomorrow!
