Congratulations Sara Smyth! .
Sara is most proud of her involvement in the Interact Club & being voted president. Like many PHS students, she has many things that keep her busy. What sets her apart is the variety of her interests. Over the past year she has worked at Whistler’s Inn while volunteering at Cooper Hospital. She attended a summer program at Cooper Medical School spending full days in the July & August of her sophomore year studying cases, dissecting cadavers, & making numerous connections with the medical teams. She loves spending time Volunteering at Cooper Hospital & hopes to have a career in the medical field.
Here at PHS, this determined young woman has her work with Interact, has been inducted into the German National Honor Society, the National Honor Society & acts as Treasurer of NHS, is a member of the German Club, Environmental Club, Prom Committee & is an active member of Student Council. As an athlete, Sara was part of the Cheerleading, Softball, & Soccer Teams. She played soccer for 4 years & was also manager of the Girls Basketball Team.
This fall, Sara will be attending Rutgers University New Brunswick Campus to study Neuroscience & Cell Biology. She has really enjoyed going to PHS & will miss her teachers, coaches & friends.
