Each year in March, the National Education Association (NEA)celebrates READ ACROSS AMERICA. This has become one of the truly favorite traditions at Charles Street School. Today was the kickoff event and all CSS students gathered in the gym with their teachers. Mrs. Lee welcomed Mr. Pease, our interim Superintendent, and Mayor Gina Tait to sign the Annual Read Across America Proclamation.
Mrs. Lee, Mr. Coppola & Mrs. Michaels presented all the class winners of posters with a certificate and the winners of the best class poster were announced! Congratulations to ALL!
This is an amazing celebration of the wonders of reading and we encourage EVERY family to set aside time to READ every day, especially during Read Across America Week.
